For large diameter, high delivery pressure, long-distance conveying pipe, forming and welding technology is critical. Carbon steel: High-strength carbon steel is suitable for high-pressure transportation. Paired with a 3PE anti-corrosion coating, it offers excellent results at a low cost.
Duplex stainless steel: Combines high strength with corrosion resistance, allowing for use in acidic environments containing H₂S. Its linear expansion coefficient is close to that of carbon steel, making it easy to weld.
Chromium-molybdenum alloy steel: Its primary performance characteristic lies in its high-temperature resistance, making it suitable for high-temperature oil product transportation in refineries. Normalizing treatment is required during production to eliminate residual stresses.
Oil line pipe is primarily used in petroleum pipelines. What are its specific application scenarios?
Oilfield production: Crude oil produced from oil wells is transported to gathering stations within the oilfield, enabling short-distance, low-pressure transportation.
Long-distance transportation: For interregional or interprovincial transportation, the pipeline design pressure is 8-12 MPa. Large-diameter oil line pipe is used for long-distance transportation to improve transportation efficiency.
In refineries: The interior wall is coated according to the medium being transported, while the exterior wall is coated with epoxy enamel. Small and medium diameters can be used to reduce operating costs.
