LSAW (Submerged Arc Welded) pipes, also known as straight seam submerged arc welded steel pipes, are the preferred choice for large-diameter transportation systems due to their unique manufacturing process, excellent structural performance, and superior adaptability. LSAW pipes use high-quality hot-rolled steel plates as raw materials, employing straight seam forming and submerged arc welding processes. During production, the material is first precisely cut using a CNC shearing machine, followed by multiple precision processes including pre-bending, forming, internal welding, and external welding. Compared to spiral welded pipes, LSAW pipes feature a straight seam, avoiding stress concentration caused by the angle of spiral welds. LSAW pipes exhibit greater structural stability under extreme conditions such as high pressure and low temperature. The submerged arc welding process effectively isolates the molten pool from air through the protective flux layer, ensuring a beautiful weld formation, fine grains, and consistent weld mechanical properties with the base material, fundamentally improving the overall load-bearing capacity of the pipeline.

In addition, the inner wall of the pipe can be smoothed as needed to reduce fluid transport resistance, decrease energy consumption, and improve transport efficiency.
