Good Hydraulic Performance Of Steel Pipe Anticorrosive Coating

The outer wall three-layer structure polyethylene inner wall fusion bonded epoxy composite steel pipe (also known as TPEP anti-corrosion, T refers to the first letter of three or two, PE refers to polyethylene ring, EP refers to epoxy powder). Among them, 3PE anti-corrosion technology combines the excellent performance of epoxy coating and extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion layer, combining the interface characteristics of epoxy coating and the chemical resistance of extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion layer. Together, they significantly improve their performance. The coating thickness is much higher than single-layer polyethylene. The adhesion and friction resistance of the fusion bonded epoxy coating are very satisfactory, the protection effect is good, the pipeline roughness is small, the inner wall is smooth, and the hydraulic performance is good.

Through the analysis of design examples, it is concluded that the pipe loss of the steel-plastic composite pipe can be reduced by more than 30% compared with the pipe of the same pipe diameter; under the condition of conveying the same flow rate, the pipe diameter can be reduced by one level, thereby reducing the cost , To reduce energy consumption, steel-plastic composite pipe is preferred in the process of long-distance water delivery.
